Meet Julie Carr, Westfield Township Zoning Inspector

My Position…

In 2021, I became the Assistant Zoning Inspector at Westfield Township, with a goal of taking over the position when the prior zoning inspector retired. I was hired as Zoning Inspector in October of 2021.

In 2024, I also began serving as the Township Administrator and Zoning Secretary.

Why I got involved with Westfield Township…

My father was a zoning inspector for almost 30 years in Wadsworth and for a short time at Westfield Township. I grew up listening to him talk about zoning and learned a great deal. He was my mentor… it was a natural fit!

What I’m passionate about…

I’m very passionate about my faith, my family and our hobby farm.

My goal is to travel to every state in the U.S.A.
