Meet Craig Horner, Westfield Township Trustee

My Position:

I’m currently serving my second 4 year term as Township Trustee.

Why I got involved with Westfield Township:

I worked 2nd and 3rd shift for a long time and wanted to meet people. My parents are gone now, but lived across the road from me and I helped them as long as I could. And, since my kids were grown, I had extra time and wanted to get more involved in the community. I had been a trustee at church, and knew other township trustees who had done this job and kept our township running…it was my turn.

My certifications:

I’m a printer by trade and have a 4-color pressman certification.

What I’m passionate about:

I’m a “movie” guy and have a large disc and digital collection. It relaxes me to watch a good flick. I also enjoy comic books and graphic novels. Batman is my favorite.

I love rock music and have seen a lot of bands in my life. Rush, Metallica, Van Halen, Kiss, The Rolling Stones… to name a few.

My nickname is “SPANK.” My friends have called me that for about 40 years.
